Every Easter, I always look forward to getting dressed up. Whether it’s for church, dinner, or egg hunting/dying, I think everyone should have a special Easter dress.
This year I went shopping around town, which for me, basically leaves like two options – Wal-Mart and Cato. I was suprirsed to find something this cute in Cato. I always thought that was kind of an old lady store.
Anyway, I love the cut and flowing nature of the dress. It kind of makes me feel like a 1950s housewife.
You can’t really see my shoes, but to clarify, in these photos I was wearing a pair of simple black ballet flats. But to church, I wore a black pair of kitten heels. Mine were nearly identical to the shape and heel height of the picture, but they had little bows on each outer side. Ballet flats proved to be much more easy to hunt eggs in.
Now this is higher than my usual rate, but being as it was a special occasion dress, my Mom paid. (Woo!) But only in agreement that his dress be worn to graduation and any future weddings I may be invited to.
So tell me readers, what did you wear on this happiest of days?
