Greek London based designer, Mary Katrantzou released her Fall/Winter 2017 collection at London Fashion Week yesterday. The line featured dazzling, whimsical designs that were surprisingly chic and mature despite it’s use of a fun, multicolor palette. Much of Katrantzou’s inspiration was drawn from Disney’s 1940 film Fantasia.
From fairies to centaurs, this collection definitely appeals to the girl who’s ever worn something with a unicorn (check out the Pegasus blazer and pencil skirt! I’m in love!) Dinsey fans alike may also detect some Alice in Wonderland garden visuals in a few of the looks.
So go ahead and pop in Fantasia and see what kind of inspiration you can get. The orchestrated music and beautifully hand drawn art will surely stir your imagination.
