I always love matching shoes to my bag – I don’t care what kind of fashion rule I’m breaking. Also, this bag is the newest to add to my collection, though it’s authenticity is to be questioned, I don’t care at all, I love it and am paying homage to the designer by carrying it, right? The story behind getting it was fun. It was my first trip to NYC this past weekend and I was determined to come home with a designer present. And sure enough, I saw men with sheets selling them on the street – totally illegal I know – and I remember my aunt saying you can haggle with them, so I saw this “Chanel” and made up something about there being residue on it and talked him down $10! THE END Sweater: Christmas gift Button down shirt: $1 @ Christian Mission Pearl Earrings: Birthday present Skinnies: $12 @ Forever 21 Mary Jane flats: $10 @ Wal Mart Chanel bag: $45 @ Guy off the street (haha) TOTAL $68 Not bad at all considering the majority of this was the purse.
Here’s what I wore to my internship, classes, and to hang with some friends. It’s a great comfy outfit that not only keeps me warm, but has a cutesy, professional vibe to it.
