When I stepped into Kohls with Christmas money in hand, I was overwhelmed by the Lauren Conrad line. I wanted everything! Here are some of my favorite pieces that have a classy, cute, vintage flair.Read More »
While paroosing through Etsy, I was surprised to find this adorable shop called Go Follow Rabbits. This shop mostly contains skirts but has a few crop tops as well – the matching Peter Pan and Sally sets are to die for! As a fangirl of all things Disney, Lord of the Rings, and Marvel, I knew this shop was definitely going to be an instant favorite that I’d want to return to!
Shop owner and designer Ashley Berthiaume started Go Follow Rabbits in 2011. With a background in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, she gets her inspiration from pop culture, art, and photography.
Here are a few of my very favorite pieces:
Anything from the Go Follow Rabbits clothing line would make a perfect gift for any cosplayers, chic geeks, or pop culture buffs. For more upcoming designs and background of the line, be sure to visit Gofollowrabbits.com, and to buy any of these darling designs, visit Ashley’s Etsy Store.
Not pictured: black kitten heels. This bag was worn with each outfit because I didn’t feel like changing out all my junk.
Purple dress: $3 @ JCPenney
Cardigan: $3 @ Gabriel Brothers
With the same necklace as the night before, I finally felt like wearing the old skirt my Grandma found for me. Previously that morning, I was wearing this striped shirt with khaki shorts, so my evening transition wasn’t too much of a change.
Shirt: $1 @ Gabriel Brothers
Cardigan: $0.25 @ Yard Sale
Skirt: Gift from Grandma
Belt: $2 @ Gabriel Brothers
Shoes: $20 @ Kohl’s
I was asked to sing at tonight’s service, so I felt like looking especially adorable. Like the previous night, I took the shirt I was wearing and switched out the bottoms and added accessories – like this sweet new owl ring I got from shopping earlier that afternoon.
Shirt: Easter present
Skirt: $7 @ Gabriel Brothers
Cardigan: Christmas present
Booties: $16 @ Gabriel Brothers
Ring: $1 @ OMG Accessories!
After work, I was exhausted. So this final look is less structured compared to the others in a sense that I just slipped on this dress and recycled the sweater from the night before. You may be able to notice the silhouette of my necklace – a silver kitty!
Dress: $6 @ Old Navy
Sandals: $0.25 @ Wal Mart
Necklace: $1 @ OMG Accessories!
PS: It’s kind of cool inside my church, hence all the cardigans. Also, I think I’m addicted to Gabriel Brothers.
So readers, do you have any tips on how to look cute when attending religious services? If so, I’d love to here them. Also, your thoughts on my choices are always welcome.
If you recall from my last post about Singing in the Rain and the styles from the twenties, I suggested pleated skirts and gave a few sites where they could be purchased for around $25. Well, today when I went thrifting, I found those skirts! And they’re almost identical to the ones I was bragging about in the previous post! They’re wonderfully breezy and make me feel like a proper lady.
I cannot wait to try out these skirts with my trench coat and different hats and beanies. Bring on the Spring!
P.S. – All this stuff = $1!
