This morning I woke to a text from a fellow Lula Addict announcing the new Disney Lularoe collection. Hesitant to believe anything, I wondered if this was a legitimate photo or a fan man one. You can never believe anything you see any more because sometimes some fan made stuff is pretty convincing! But upon scrolling through my Facebook and seeing several consultants confirm, it is official: get ready for some adorable Disney leggings!
Lularoe announced this collaboration in a teaser video posted to their Facebook page. Excited as I was and wanting to daydream about this collection, I took some screen grabs for all our planning glory. Props to the art director on this shoot – the colors and use of negative space was really effective in achieving a whimsical Disney touch!
Starting with the leggings: most seem to be a variation on the Minnie Mouse silhouette. I really hope they have some castles in the future! But for now, I’ve got my eyes on the gray ones in the first photo.
Next, let’s check out the tees. I’m really bad at discerning Lularoe’s “perfect tee” versus their “classic tee”, so if any of you ladies can help me out, it’d be much appreciated. I’m all about the color combo featured in the first Minnie and Mickey tee. It’s gonna be so hard to choose favorites though. This stuff is gonna look even cuter in person, I bet!
^And how cute is that Stitch Irma! I wonder what other classic Disney characters will make a debut with Lularoe?
There wasn’t many dresses featured in this teaser, but I’m sure we can expect a variety once the collection arrives to consultants. Meanwhile, I can’t stop swooning over this subtle Minnie printed Carly – one of my favorite Lularoe styles.
Lastly, the kids collection features some really cute combos with great opportunities for Mommy and Me matching sets – ideal for that Disney vacation! I really like how they incorporated little boys into this collaboration. Disney isn’t just for girls and the designs are made to be somewhat gender neutral (ie. the Thumper printed Randy/Sloane). Way to go Lularoe!
What do you think of the collection? What are you hoping to see? The possibilities are certainly endless and according to one of my favorite consultants “in the know”, this collaboration is set up for a 2 year contract! So we should be seeing plenty of Disney goodies for the long haul. Goodbye disposable income!
