Now that I find myself living in Lularoe, I’m trying to find more ways to incorporate these super soft pieces into the rest of my wardrobe. Do you ever find your self dressed head to toe in one brand? I do! Though I have plenty of Lularoe items that match each other perfectly, it’s fun to see what other outfit combinations I can come up with things I already have from other stores. The top in today’s post, is actually a Julia dress from Lularoe! The Julia dress is basically a knee length body con dress and is pretty clingy. Usually I’ve worn it with leggings, but the fact I can layer a skirt over it and it not peek through underneath is pretty cool. I’ve also worn this dress with a top over it, giving the dress a pencil skirt look when layered.
Like most solid color tops, you can pretty much throw any kind of skirt with it. Today, I chose a knee length a-line midi skirt. Let me tell you, this skirt is a must have! I’ve gotten countless outfit ideas from Pinterest featuring this style, so it’s really gotten some use in the past year. Though my skirt is from Cato, you can find them mostly anywhere since it’s a classic striped combination.
Adding a touch of pink really makes the entire look playful and breaks up to cool color scheme that would have been more predictable when styling a look like this. My belt is also from Cato (hey that’s what happens when there is only one clothing store in your small town). I think other possibilities for this kind of look could feature an accessory that is vivid and bright like orange, yellow, or red.
