Today’s plan was to find David a blazer and dress shirt for practically nothing, so to the Christian Mission we went. And for most shopping addicts, in this case, thrifting addicts, one cannot walk into a thrift store and leave with nothing. That’s like defying gravity. So here were my finds of the day!
1. Little red blazer with polka dot lining (look closely and you can see it peaking out).
2. Pleated polka dot dress with matching belt
Didn’t realize until I got home, “Hey! These will look pretty snappy together!”
3. Little blue cardigan trimmed with floral detail. (Saw as I was leaving. Must have been meant to be!)
4. Airy pink accordion pleated skirt (Can never have to many of these. This makes my third from the Christian Mission.)
Again, I didn’t realize these would look good together until I laid them out on my bed. I feel ready for Easter!
5. Tweed opera jacket
Ironically, I was wearing my black cotton opera jacket today, so finding another in a different texture and color was exciting. I look forward to wearing this with plaid, tights, and boots once autumn rolls around again.
And there you have it. My newest additions thanks to the Christian Mission. And for those of you reading from the Morgantown area, be sure to visit or donate. Just don’t visit too often, because then I won’t have anything to look forward to in life. (haha)
