Each year the department of Design & Merchandising at West Virginia University holds a spring fashion show. It is here that the merchandising students are given the chance to plan and host the show, as well as the design students to showcase their very own clothing line. This year’s theme was Wild And Wonderful.
I modeled a design by Nichole Shuster, who was inspired by the 80s, Betsy Johnson, and leopards. The back of this cropped jacket had three diagnol tears filled in with leopard print. It was pretty wild and reminded me a bit of KE$HA.
Backstage of the fashion show was filled with models completing their makeup and designers making the final touches on their garments. I loved seeing the diverse selection of clothing lines. Take a look at a few of my favorites.
Here are the other 4 looks that were in Nichole’s line. You can spot her signature fit and fabrics within each design.
